Undo changes
End a session, reverse one setting, or reset supported TinyBoost changes.

Choose the smallest undo that fits what you changed. You usually do not need a full reset after playing.
Quick answer#
| What happened? | Start here |
|---|---|
| I finished playing | Press STOP, then wait for restoration |
| An app was paused and I need it | Use the gear beside STOP to resume it |
| I changed one Windows tweak | Turn that switch off in Windows → Windows Tweaks |
| I changed DNS or adapter settings | Use the Network tool's undo control |
| I want to reset supported TinyBoost changes | PC Health → Reset All Settings |
| Windows still has a problem after undoing the change | Consider an available Windows restore point |
1. STOP: undoes a gaming session#
Finish your match, press STOP, and let TinyBoost restore the supported settings recorded before START.
STOP closes CS2
Wait until you are ready to leave the game. Closed background applications also need to be reopened manually.
STOP does not reverse every action in the tool tabs. Windows tweaks, game settings, cleanup, and other manual changes need their own controls.
2. Individual switches: undo one tweak#
Open Windows → Windows Tweaks → Open Settings, find the setting you changed, and turn it off. Follow any Restart Explorer or Restart PC now prompt after saving your work.
For a setting inside another tool, use that tool's reset or restore control. If you are unsure what it restores, check its guide before applying it.
3. Reset All Settings: the big undo#
- Stop the active gaming session and finish or cancel other TinyBoost jobs.
- Open PC Health → Reset All Settings.
- Click Reset Everything and read the confirmation before confirming.
- Wait for the reset to finish, then restart Windows when requested.
This restores supported TinyBoost changes and removes saved performance profiles. It does not recover deleted files or guarantee that every external app setting returns to its previous value.
4. Windows System Restore: the safety net#
You need a restore point from before the problem. TinyBoost can create one through PC Health → System Restore Point → Create Restore Point. Check that creation succeeds.
To use an existing point:
- Open the Windows Start menu and search for Create a restore point.
- Open System Restore and choose a point from before the problem, such as TINYBOOST RESTORE POINT.
- Review the affected programs and follow the Windows prompts.
System Restore rolls back system settings and can affect installed apps and drivers. It is not a backup of your personal files. See Microsoft's System Restore guide.
What can't be undone#
| Change | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Disk Cleanup | Deleted files cannot be recovered by TinyBoost, including anything emptied from the Recycle Bin |
| Debloat | Some apps can be reinstalled, but availability varies and their previous data may be lost |
| Hardware acceleration in other apps | Re-enable it in each app's own settings |
| CS2 launch options or video settings | Restore your own saved values; keep a copy before changing them |
| Closed applications | Reopen them yourself; unsaved work may be lost |
If something feels wrong and you're not sure what changed#
- Finish your match and press STOP if a session is active.
- Reverse the most recent change using its own tool.
- If you cannot identify it, review Reset All Settings and restart when requested.
- If the problem remains, contact support or use an appropriate existing restore point.
For an application that remains paused, bring TinyBoost to the front and tap M repeatedly outside any text field to request emergency recovery. If the app is unresponsive, this shortcut may not work; avoid repeatedly starting new jobs.
